i'm in year 10 now, but I'm just wondering what exactly i should take or study to eventually become a doctor?

Well if you're in an Australian high school, they usually want: at least Advanced English, Advanced Maths, one or two sciences (biology and chemistry), and the rest doesn't matter but you want to choose Board of Studies approved subjects rather than those TVET/ vocational subjects with optional HSC exams. Most importantly is to get your marks as high as possible since most medicine courses have cut-off ATARs? (they used to be UAIs) in the 90s. And make sure you bring a heck lot of devotion and such with you, it's like 6 years of fairly intensive undergraduate study alone, and anything up to 15 or so years to specialise in something.
