Would i be able to use an Australian school ID in New Zealand to purchase alcohol even though i am 18

Would i be able to use an Australian school ID in New Zealand to purchase alcohol even though i am 18?
I lost my wallet with my drivers license and i leave tomorrow afternoon. All my friends in NZ want to go clubbing and drinking, yet the only ID i have is my school ID from Australia. Anybody know from experience if they accept or decline them, because i don't want to make a fake and i leave tomorrow =S

How about you don't purchase alcohol. Life is better without alcohol.

I think u shud be able too.. Its jusr identification. If it was a driver's license then you would be use tht as identification anywhere, same goes for ID cards
3 :
You support Bayern München for what reason? Schalke für immer!
4 :
If you are travelling fron Aust to NZ and you are over 18, then you will only need to use your passport!!
5 :
No, use your passport!
6 :
If the student ID has both your photo and date of birth you may be able to use it, however most places would ask for your passport as ID in preference.

There are 3 types of ID acceptable legally. A NZ issued drivers licence, a passport from NZ or another country or an '18+ card'. Presumably, however, you have a passport. You will need to take that with you. Photocopies aren't acceptable but you should (however) take a copy of it and leave the copy somewhere safe in case it gets stolen or lost when you are out drinking. If you look under 25 or 30 the seller will most likely ask you for ID and they are well within their rights to not sell it. So your passport is the only legal ID you have. FWIW, some places will accept your school ID as proof of age but it won't be somewhere with a legal alcohol requirement. So if you can get (or instance) cheap bus tickets or entry fees that would probably be ok.

Can you petition to change your high school teacher in australia

Can you petition to change your high school teacher in australia?
I go to a school in melbourne australia and im in year 9. i have a science teacher that picks on students well beyond what the average teacher might do. im sick of her and so are many others in our class. she constantly yells at us for doing the slightest things, and even when we do nothing wrong shell still yell at us. if we try to tell her we didnt do anything, we just get sent out side for being 'negative, and constantly arguing' and then shell yell at us outside and give us a detention. seriously, its gotten out of hand. i cant take it anymore and neither can my classmates. there are a few pew that she picks on even more (so much that the way she treats everyone else would be considered 'nice') i am one of those people that get picked on substantially. im not disruptive in class, im not rude, i do my work and im rather intelligent (in fact our whole class is, due to it being a select entry class). but she picks on me no matter what. if i ask a question she will yell at me saying 'WERNT YOU LISTENING? I JUST SAID THAT! IM SICK AND TIRED OF YOU NOT LISTENING!!' then someone else RIGHT after i asked, and i mean right after, would ask the same question and she would nicely explain it to them. she is completely bias. some people in my class have had their parents see her, as they were being 'negative' (they really didnt do anything). they would try to explain at the interview how the teacher picks on people, but the teacher, usually with a coordinator, will come up with something to say such as 'oh, i know miss ?? very well. she does not treat her students like that' i want her GONE. i do not want to go to school anymore because of her. can i make a petition with student and parent signatures requesting a different science teacher? some parents have already complained to the school, but nothing has happened so far, and im not going take it anymore. i will do everything i can to get rid of her. she is making our lives miserable.

You need documentation, you have to catch her in the act, then she is done for. I have suggested to your age that you take your cell phone, if you can, and take pictures or tape record what happened and then approach the principal first and they often side with teachers in their school, so here in the USA, you go to the district office. parents and adults of students carry alot of power here because we , the adults elect the school board and they are the ultimate bosses , even over the superintendent. I am a retired teacher and I know my stuff in the USA. Teachers like this are an embarrassment to me as a professional teacher and they need to be gone. TEachers are there to help the cooperative students ~!!!

I can understand why they would, but I also understand why there's such a shortage of teachers. I taught in Catholic schools here in the States for 8 years and I was quite capable of teaching such things without necessarily living them. Further, divorce, in and of itself, is not condemned by the Church. Remarriage after divorce is without an annulment. They should look into it.

This is standard procedure for Catholic schools. All Church employees sign a morals clause stating something like: Because all Diocesan employees represent the Roman Catholic Church, they are expected to conduct themselves according to the goals and mission of the Church in performing their work. If you were a parent of three school age children who was trying to scrape together enough money every month to send your children to Catholic school for education and religious and moral development, how would you feel if you found out that your fourth grader found out that her teacher was living in sin? With love in Christ.

The Catholic Religion is not an elected governing factor in life!. Its a dictated imposition by a handful of men in the Vatican who surrounded by wealth, health care, ample food to eat, warm and comfortable lodgings and countless other luxuries of life - live far in isolated excess of their so called flocks. 2,000 + years have accrued and yet these old uncompromising men, many of whom in their younger day were violent sexual abusers, drunkards & guilty of innumerable other offenses are all still intent on maintaining and enforcing their ancient old means of impediment and decrepied ways of the dark ages on modern living. Look at any/all Catholic countries were they are still allowed to dictate and pass their unelected decrees and/or laws on the masses. South America, Philipines. Africa. portions of Europe and other predominate catholic countries. Behind government scenes they ensure the people are kept poor, uneducated with little health or welfare. The women expected to give birth annually and all continue to live in squalor and filth. The Roman Catholic fath is still what it has always been, a private unelected institution, ruled and governed by perverts from the top the bottom to ensure their unelected life of privlige rank and wealth over countless millions of poor needy uneducated souls - whose daily life is no more then virtual despair - because of papal unelected enforced indoctrination of countless millions - is maintained in the glorious style their centuries of dictatotship has benefited them. Its the same with Islam / Budism! Who needs those kinds of religions? Why are they all tolerated! Governments are freely elected by the people. Religions are no more than imposed impostions by unelected clerics the world over.
