Only some private schools advertise for teachers - all other appointments are made by the Department of Education in the various state from their pool of qualified teachers. Its unlikely that you will get a private school position with only a years experience and no face to face interview so your best bet is to contact the state (that you wish to move to) education department and see whether your qualifications are acceptable. In some states you have to sit a face to face meeting in order to be scaled (the scaling affects the priority of your placement)

Will I still have to go to school

Will I still have to go to school?
If I leave the UK when i've done my GCSEs and leave school at 16. (the age for leaving here). Will I still have to go to school in Australia? In Australia you have to stay until you're 18, I think.

No, Unless your are a citizen of that country then you have to abide by the law and youre not so you wont have to.

I think it depends. If GCSEs are a similar standard to their exams or they start school later than us then I guess you wouldn't have to. Obviously though if your GCSEs don't mean anything in Australia and you won't be able to get a job, you'd probably have to go to school.

When then yes, you still have to apply to the laws of other countries.
4 :
No, you aren't a citizen of Australia.

True, i want to say how much i think it is critical for a student to do his or her own school work, having said that, i don't know as to what the answer to your question is.
