How much do primary school teachers roughly get paid in Australia? Yearly? Cheers Im actually studying Primary Education at University, will be graduating in a year or so, so just curious about the pay =) So many people say that teachers hardly get paid anything, is this a stereotype? how much do they actually get paid? *Not thinking of other "higher paying" careers haha

Depends on the number of years spent at university and number of years teaching experience. Starts at between $46000 and $48000pa though. Good luck finding a job - teacher shortage - pffff!
