i need to know the school leaving age in australia, but not just now, does any one know the school leaving age like, a few decades ago? thanks! xo

I believe the minimum school leaving age is 16 or year 10. Which it has been for many years. When my parents where at school (30+ years ago) most students left at the end of year 10, only those going on to university stayed until the end of year 12, now times have changed most students stay until year 12 regardless of if they plan to go to University.
