Is it compulsory for schools in NSW Australia to offer courses by correspondence

Is it compulsory for schools in NSW Australia to offer courses by correspondence?
Hello, If a school doesn't offer an HSC course at school is it compulsory for them to offer it by correspondence? I'm in NSW, Australia and interested in doing the software design and development course. Thanks, Cory

No its not - If it is a single subject - thats what you go to TAFE for. You go on a Saturday or a weeknight once a week and do the single subject. Several students from my old school did that as the school could allow you to study both German and Physics (timetable didnt allow for it) so they took German at TAFE on Tuesday nights. Individual schools dont teach by correspondence (who is to do it?) Correspondence schools do - you have to sign up as a home schooler which takes time and requires your parents to be involved (one to be a home body for instance).
